There are two types of newborn photography – posed/studio & lifestyle. I love both for different reasons. However, it is important to make sure you know what type you intend to do so there are no surprises during or after the session.

 

 

Posed/studio sessions $225

 

Posed/studio sessions are typically done within the first 2 weeks of birth when the baby is very sleepy and "mold-able". The focus in this type of session is on shots of the baby looking perfect, usually in blankets, wraps, hats, & headbands. The session can last up to 3 1/2 hours with feeding, potty breaks, and posing. Editing this type of session also takes quite a bit of time as each image needs to go through editing software individually to get a polished end result.

 

This session includes: 3 hours of in studio air conditioned photography, 1/2 an hour for nursing (if needed), Photography Props, Photography background, Professional Editing, 20 Digital images on CD,  8 Edits and Digital Card Layout.  *Option to purchase CD of all images (approx 100 images) for an additional $50

 

 

Lifestyle newborn sessions - $200

 

Lifestyle sessions include mom and dad and are a bit more casual approach to newborn photography. There may be some posing but the intention is to capture more natural images of the baby. These sessions can be done up to 6 weeks old and usually last 3 hours max. My favorite thing about lifestyle newborn photography is capturing the wonder and amazement between the family members. Newborns are incredible but so is the love in the air. Memories of this time-frame often become fuzzy for new parents and that is precisely why I feel these types of shoots are so important.

 

This session includes: Mom and Dad included, 3 hours of in home photography (Polk County, other areas please see additional mileage charge below), ½ an hour for nursing (if needed), Photography Props, Photography background, Professional Editing, 10 Digital images on CD, 10 Edits and Digital Card Layout and a Facebook cover layout. *Option to purchase CD of all images (approx. 100 images) taken at session for an additional $50

 

 

Babies! Ages 1 Month through 1 year $175

 

Babies are fun! This package includes a 3 hour session for your baby plus 1/2 an hour for nursing. Plenty of props to choose from too!

 

This session includes: 2 hours of air conditioned photography, ½ an hour for nursing (if needed), Photography Props, Photography background, Professional Editing, 10 Digital images on CD, 10 Edits and Digital Card Layout and a Facebook cover layout. *Option to purchase CD of all images taken at session for an additional $50

 

 

Toddlers and children are incredible little individuals! - $150

 

That’s why I work hard to capture who your child is… Let’s go outside, to the park… even your backyard to blow some bubbles. Your children are fascinated by life, and I want to capture each individual child and their personalities. During the colder months, I shoot in my indoor studio location.

This session includes: Child only, 2 hours of air conditioned photography or outdoor photography (within a 5 mile radius of studio), ½ an hour for feeding/potty breaks, etc. (if needed), Professional Editing, 10 digital images on CD, 10 Edits, Digital Card Layout and a Facebook cover layout.*Option to purchase CD of all images (approx 200)  taken at session for an additional $50
